Proud Jiujitsu mom mode this weekend. Put on my RYU t-shirt to cheer for my son Dani and the @ryucombatacademy team.
It was well worth the afternoon – watching Dani so composed and calm throughout 3 incredible comeback fights to win a silver medal. And the camaraderie amongst the team, so heartwarming. And of course, the icing on the cake – the RYU team winning a well-deserved best overall team of the tournament trophy!

Last night, we got to celebrate my dearest sister Carol’s birthday with a surprise party, attended by 40 of her closest friends (organised by our cousin Angie).
We got to see just how loved Carol is by so many people – she really makes time for friends and family, and is THAT person you can always count on when you need someone. Carol’s always been there for me as we were growing up and as I first ventured into business and needed someone I could trust to work with me. And she’s been there for my kids Mila and Dani were growing up, like their second mother. Always selfless, ever giving, and so very thoughtful and caring – that’s why we love you so much Carol. Wednesdays are my “round table” day at Enfiniti, when the knights @ HODs of the Enfiniti Group have our weekly huddle to update each other on @tiarasaescapes, @dreamforest.langkawi, @enfinitimy and @enfinitiacademy matters. Arief is repping the missing 3 as well as @faridridzuan today. After lunch on Saturday, we decided to leave KL and go on a drive somewhere since Monday would be a holiday. We had done the drive up north last month, so we decided to go south to #Malacca this time.
It was a lovely revisit, after maybe 3-4 years. So good to see how Malacca is bustling with tourists again, and so many new hotels and restaurants have popped up everywhere.
So it was a #JalanJalanCariMakan and #CutiCutiMalaysia weekend for us, featuring durian chendol, good but expensive coffee, incredibly yummy dinners, walks along Jonker Street, discovering Temple Street, strolling along the Malacca River at night. This was some much needed time together as a couple, after working like CRAZY all week 👩❤️👨

And oh, strictly no photos. Today was an exception cos the eccentric owner realised who I was. “Can also lah” he said, when I said I would promote his shop. The owner is considering getting an instagram account after I told him that this is how other businesses promote themselves nowadays.
