Yaeji Instagram – to all the onions who showed up for our eu/uk tour — thank you thank you thank you. it was my first headline tour in europe (!!) and it was a tour with many unexpected challenges. one of our dancers got injured mid-tour and we had to make quick adjustments to the show to work as a two-person performance. it’s not easy to be vulnerable in front of a big group of people u havent met before, to express your deepest personal thoughts and experiences to strangers from a different culture, who speak a different language. but touring reminds me that despite all our differences, we are all here together because something in us resonated. and that resonance goes beyond language. we are all humans. we all came from one thing and will go back to one thing. we all have a heart, and the heart is a muscle. a muscle is to be used over and over to grow stronger 💪 so let us not stop feeling! let us feel joy and love, but also be confused, angry, and sad. let us not normalize genocide. let us not normalize apartheid. thank u for giving me courage on the road onions 💗 my body mind and soul feel more aligned thanks to you and this tour. til next time 🫰💌 📸 @daria.msdv
