Yasra Rizvi Instagram – I dont know when feeling went out of fashion or compassion became uncool but I always needed both, still do. Pretty pictures are great, accolades are honorable, money can do more than just paying bills but what about the human experience; what does one replace the warmth of a genuine smile facilitated by sheer human-ness with? Prestige? When did we deprioritize wiping someone’s tears? Since we got our own lives? How is ANYTHING more important than mending a broken heart? Because now we can build skyscrapers? How did we advance so much and forget basic courtesy? Why are we okay with this new-barely-on-surface version of humanity? Where did being human go from everyday life? We have accomplished nothing, we are constantly losing and we dont even realise it!
