Caption : By far the hardest thing I’ve ever done…. humbling, struggle, resilience, tears, emotionally overwhelming, blessing:- are some of the words to describe this experience. I didn’t believe I could physically do it, others also didnt believe i could either, emotionally I wavered but spiritually, by any means, I was going to reach the top, and i did! I walked the 15km hike with a steady and steep incline. I dont often put religious posts, I believe religion is a private thing but the climb to Vaishnudevi is more about the will of the human spirit, to be tested against the odds yet still reach the top on pure will and determination….. (its only when we push ourselves beyond our comfort level that we find out what we are made of….. )thank you to everyone who supported me in this ❤️ you are in my heart

Caption : #tbf i remember how freely i used to laugh, how i didnt care if i laughed too loud or if anyone thought my laugh was weird….. I remember being so shy but confident to talk to someone else who looked shy and outta place too…. i rememeber feeling like i didnt fit in anywhere… i remember being proud of the person i am while knowing that i was still discovering who i will become…. I remember knowing with full certainty that i will save up money and fly to Ireland for @laura.gallagher84 wedding knowing i had missed so many others….. I remember meeting @neverfullydressed Lucy and loved that we were both Mad on the same table! I know that i have, a few times in my life, lost who i am to fit in to what people around me wanted/expected. I know i have failed to change myself and no one ends up happy. I hope i dont do it again, but know that i also might in future. I have grown wiser, smarter, more patient, more aware all the while keeping my compassion, kindness and empathy. Some things are important to hold on to from the past while some things need to be let go of as you grow. Some things you can change and some things you just cant. Caption : I always noticed new mums cut their hair short and i never understood why. I later learned about postpartum hairfall, which must suck when you’re adjusting to a new reality of tiny humans who, like a motion sensor, cry or poop the moment you step into the bathroom. I had decided when cut my hair short again id like to donate my hair to be made into wigs for people going through cancer treatments.
