Giant creative things a brewing 🙊! T’was like a crazy ol 2 day rocking fever dream, the good kind, where ya wake up wishing there was a day 3! To say I am proud of @zacbrown and what the entire @zacbrownband has created and come to be would be an understatement , a LOT of hard work, passion, & DRIVE ! I keep having flashback on this #throwbackthursday of me walking out Z ‘s house about 5 am, Camera in hand, and Z , w that big smile “ you ready to make an award winning video?” … “I’m going to be happy just to make A video …” needless to say, we did both. 🔊TURN IT ⬆️‼️ Just a lil pre-game warm up, TURNT into a big ol family affair 👊❤️🤣. While the band was doing their tribute to the great @jimmybuffett with @officialalanjackson at the @cma ‘s , I was having a blast simultaneously doing this edit! With every new Grandpa clip I discovered , every musical nuance the band would bring , it all effortlessly fell into place, big ol family. Generations of struggles, passion, and relentless talent in this one ! Wasn’t that long ago, Z and I were running back n forth from Home Depot to buy gear to film #ChickenFried. Now, @zacbrownband #PedroGonzalezGonzalez , Granny (who Zac would serenade over my speaker phone, often send flowers too, and she’d bring the band a huge trey of Gonzalez Gonzalez Family’s Mole recipe) my Great Uncle Arturo, and even my Mom’s rocking a sombrero (behind gramps when he does he “slip”, dude was masterful at the vaudevillian falls n slips) Hope y’all enjoy this one as much as I enjoyed putting it together. Many radio stations , struggled to make the transition, especially AM radio as their reach was limited. Every station needed a hook so to speak, #WOAI came up with an idea to create what was commonly known as a “Dude Ranch” but they needed extra crew, a drummer and a comedian … gramps got a drum set on what’s called “layaway” 😉 , here he is with #curlywilliams and the #CometteNylonRanchHands , last pic #WOAI Mascot #LouEmerson aka Dudley
