Francis Ford Coppola Instagram – Happy belated birthday to the great Terry Malick! (aside from all else, the funniest person I’ve ever met.)   I know that humor is a sure sign of intelligence. Terry and I once travelled as tourists, and I remember I never could stop laughing. So much so, that I later asked Terry if he’d come to the Philippines to appear in Apocalypse Now as the ‘rivets salesman’ from Joseph Conrad’s Heart of Darkness, and he said he would. But my source of funding was cut off, and I had to stop shooting. Nevertheless,  his own body of work is monumental!
