It’s been a big day over here! Particularly for Gus, who, technically speaking, is having his first day over here.
2009 just hit different
Rachel and I have been married for ten years. That number seems both enormous – a whole decade! – and so small. It is difficult to remember a life without her; so intrinsic is the love and support and joy she radiates towards me, Henry and Gus every single day. She’s the reason I get to live the life I’ve always wanted, with the family I always dreamed of having. She’s the love of my life, AND my life, and I’d marry her every single day if that was a thing a person could actually do.
I’m devastated over the passing of Jimmy Buffett, a man whose generosity towards our family defied explanation. He was so kind, so excited, so talented and hysterically funny and whip-smart. One of the all-time best dudes just living one of the all-time best lives ever. I’ll miss him a whole bunch.

New mod project! Took a beat up GBA SP and slapped it in a metal unhinged shell from Boxy Pixel. A lot more soldering than anything I’ve done so far, but I’m really happy with the finished product!

Fixed up my childhood GBC with a new shell, blue LED and an IPS screen! The speaker’s crapped out, which I don’t know if happened during the mod or sometime over the last like 25 years, but should be easily replaced.
