Per questa runway ci è stato chiesto di mettersi alla prova truccando un’altra persona, e io non posso essere più felice e fiero che un artista geniale, talentuoso, e soprattutto un amico come @immanuelcasto , abbia accettato di partecipare a questo progetto. Non smetterò mai di dirgli GRAZIE.
L’ispirazione è il mondo dei Club Kids e l’arte del patchwork, tratto distintivo di Nigel Xavier. La reference per le shapes dei nostri abiti è Jean Paul Gaultier.
Gli anni ‘90 si incentrano sul concetto di decostruzione, strappare le cose e rimettere insieme i pezzi mostrando le cicatrici. L’idea alla base dei miei outfit è quella di creare pezzi unici, che possano diventare un trend, un trend topic…un drag topic. Ho voluto esprimere a pieno il mio modo di vedere il drag: sperimentazione, colore e allegria.

For this runway we were asked to challenge ourselves by doing another person’s makeup, and I cannot be happier and prouder that an artist as brilliant, talented, and most importantly a friend as @immanuelcasto, agreed to participate in this project. I will never stop saying THANK YOU to him.

The 90s focuses on the concept of deconstruction, tearing things apart and putting them back together showing the scars. The idea behind my outfits is to create unique pieces that can become a trend, a trend topic…a drag topic. I wanted to fully embody the way I see drag: experimentation, color and fun.
