Jim Baird Instagram – Here’s a fast way to dry out berries to preserve them using fire. It’s far faster than sun dryin them and it worls when it’s not sunny. It’s also faser than treading them along a thin piece of line and hanging them up whole over a fire indoors or other which can work to dry berries too and is mroe passive though takes forever and is harder to insure the berries are fully dry that way. This is just a small scale example of how the process can be done at camp.
