Decision didn’t go his way, but can walk with his head held high.
Walking into Cully’s back yard, the odds were always stacked against him.
As the champion he didn’t get the champion privileges.
Away hotel which is understandable but he walked to the ring first, he was announced first and was against an Irish ref and Irish judge.
Still he goes about his business.
It was a close fight but I thought we had it by a round, at worse a draw.
Heat of the moment and angles from the corner make some of the rounds difficult to see the clear punches but also punches that you thought to have landed, don’t.
Still seeing the punch stats just confirms, he may have been out worked in times but he caught a lot of punches on arms and gloves and landed the telling shots which is even more frustrating.
This is boxing, but his stock has risen and he will be back! 👍
