King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – The Queen has spent the day in Bristol and North Somerset, beginning with a visit to celebrate 25 years of Emmaus Bristol. The charity supports individuals who have experienced homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. Those living at @EmmausBristol work in the charity’s social enterprises and receive tailored support plans, training and development opportunities. ⚒️🪑 During the visit, Her Majesty heard about the charity’s income generating streams and spent time with staff and companions, touring the warehouses where donated items are stored, repurposed, or upcycled. Later, Her Majesty visited @childrenshospicesw Charlton Farm site, which provides a homely space for children and young people with life limiting or life-threatening conditions, and their families. Touring the hospice, The Queen met staff and supporters, before joining children to decorate their Christmas tree. 🎄
