King Charles III of the United Kingdom Instagram – The Duchess of Edinburgh spent time with ex-FARC combatants at the Trópicos ‘Fruits of Hope’ coffee farm in Colombia, where she heard first hand how their important peace building work is creating new opportunities for communities.   The Duchess visited The Centre for Research on Tropical Agriculture Seed Bank, to hear about their work to promote food security amidst climate change.   HRH also saw advanced DNA sequencing technology being developed to help combat the illegal wildlife trade.   The conflict in Colombia disproportionately impacts women and girls, many of whom are survivors of conflict-related sexual violence.
