If anything, you should feel like your identity has grown as a result of being with them. If you’ve lost your sense of self, something is wrong. It means you’re allowing yourself to subjugate your own needs, wants, and desires in service of pleasing and being close to someone else. This may create the illusion of “closeness” in your relationship to begin with, but will eventually result in a loss of attraction as your partner forgets what was unique and different about you. By all means merge your life with someone else’s, but just remember who YOU are in the process ❤️
