Matthew Lewis Instagram – A good day. You know, I’ve never worn anything with a politician’s name on before. Not without irony, anyway. But I did wear this shirt on Election Day. Not as a Democrat, or even as a passionate Biden supporter. I wore it as a symbol of defeat for the last administration. They were anathema to me and all that I stand for. Today we move on. The new admin has a lot to do and they made promises that they need to keep to the people who put them there. We cannot go back. We cannot ignore. We have an opportunity. I’ll enjoy today. But tomorrow we should have our eyes locked on the new admin, to make sure they repay the faith the American people have put in them. I believe @joebiden is a good man, full of the compassion and empathy that we’ve sorely missed these few years, and I hope he will inspire me to wear this shirt again.
