Nirmal Purja Instagram – REBUILD. In October 2022 Pakistan was devastated by one of the deadliest floods ever to impact the country. Sadly, thousands lost their lives and were injured, with over 2.1 million people made homeless. With your support, the Nimsdai Foundation were able to immediately respond. Our teams were quickly on the ground distributing emergency shelters, food packages and clean water. We were able to provide aid that helped over 10,000 people. And our suport didn’t stop when the flood water receded. Since 2022 we have provided the resources and infrastructure required to rebuild the houses of a number of village elders, who had sadly lost their loved ones. In a culture where it is normally the responsibility of the younger generation to look after their aging family, this help is life changing.
