Prentice Penny Instagram – OH MY GOD! I can’t believe we’ve been married 20 YEARS ago TODAY. I can’t believe I tricked @mz_money_penny to marry me. I remember when her father said we had to be at least married 10
Years to justify the cost of the wedding and now we’ve doubled that. I feel like he owes us a bonus. But I’ve been blessed to have an amazing partner all this time. We were so young. We were so naive. In none of these pictures are the arguments, the fights, the whoopings we have the kids, the arguing on the planes on who’s sitting with who, the “you said you were making dinner” nitpicking. I guess because when you look back those things become fun too. God knew what he was doing blessing you with me and I pray I’ve lived up to it. My grandmother told me the secret to being married. She said the “only way to get to 50 years, is to get to 50 years”. This shit is a marathon! And you don’t get there without bruises and scrapes. Anyone who’s been married this long and more knows that to be true as hell. Low key I feel like it took me 20 years just to figure this shit out. Lol.
