To achieve and create all he got to do for TV——and live to ONE HUNDRED AND ONE….which is the opposite of “wow he only lived to age 24 before his 3rd album or then because of medical complications he passed at 54” Living to 3 digits is a LIFE. I never shared these stories (really don’t have time these days cause I been up since 7 prepping 🎥) but there was this period in which he accidentally met our manager Rich Nichols and he was OBSESSED with him ——like there was a period when they hung heavy just because to know Rich was to get schooled in the most craziest mensa level knowledge——I mean even half the time I just feel like Rich is elsewhere channeling a cheat sheet through me (“oh yeah Rich once said blah blah blah”) but it was such a weird time cause Rich would get back and I’m like “dude this is so random….like yall spend all this time together….what in the hell do you and Norman Lear talk about?!!!” And I guess Norm was just fascinated with anyone that did ALOT of critical thinking and analytical thought process (uh you critics would call that “overthinking” and kinda call me out righteously 🤣🤣😂😂) ——believe it or not that’s the ONE thing I’m trying to lose as I take these new steps in life (more passion in my heart and less calculating over analyzing——-but back then we were all——ok I WAS all about “safety” and “people pleasing” and now I’m about self advocating and “what is it that I want?” Or “what is it that I’m passionate about? Am I on fire about this or are you afraid to be like hurting someone’s feelings by declining or (the likely scenario) “are you avoiding life by distracting yourself with work work work?” Not to go off on a tangent but if there ever was a time I wish I was a fly in the room, it would be for all of those weekends Norman & Rich would debate discuss strategize and just talk. I mean they weren’t even plannin anything (“wait are we negotiating a deal or somethin?”) Nah, they were just two birds of a feather and now…they are someone in alternate earth arguing til the cows came home about somethin. Tell Rich I said “thank you” Norman Lear cause I know of all people, yall about to find each other.
