Rob Liefeld Instagram – Can you believe that today is the 43rd anniversary of the greatest X-Men story ever told?? Days Of Future Past shocked and thrilled it’s audience. It was the buzz of 1980, and never better than this. I was 12 and this is the one that confirmed that I had to make comic books for a living and if possible, make X-Men comic books! I’m beyond fortunate to own a piece of this incredible achievement, my favorite page in X-Men history. The film adaptation of DOFP is the best in the series. Funny how the source material matters. Kudos to Chris Claremont, John Byrne & Terry Austin. Comic book creators are the most valuable resource of imagination in the 21st century.
