Ryan Potter Instagram – As far back as my memory can go; to when I lived in Tokyo there were 2 shows that played incessantly. Inuyasha and One Piece. When I moved to the states I had to say goodbye to the straw hat pirates until the episodes caught back up and were released on Toonami.
Every trip back to Japan I’d spend hours at the ‘ufo catcher’ claw machines testing my luck at the newest one piece figurines like many adolescent with grandline dreams. This Manga, Anime, and cultural phenomenon has served as a touchstone and bridge for me. Connecting me back to the earliest memories I hold dear.

Ace is what I’ve set my sights on next

Feels right, seeing as I stopped watching regularly after Ace’s early demise.
