Scooter Braun Instagram – Coming to a region at war has been an overwhelming experience. I have not met one person who wants war. I have met families torn apart and friends lost and people who pray for a better future. I have met brave people who want the greater good. Last night though I witnessed a moment I will never forget . My friend @natasharaquel has her first child who is only 5 months old and her husband Rotem has been away from his young daughter as he was called into Gaza in the reserves. This is not a professional soldier. This is a young man with a young business and family. Every day since this war began I have watched her pray that there is a safe return of the love of her life and father of her young daughter. Last night we were at dinner and she got a call. Her eyes lit up as it was Rotem and he said he had just a minute but wanted to know how she was and where she was. She replied the restaurant we had dragged her out to as her mother in law watched their daughter. He said he had to go back and loved her and hung up. She cried to us and spoke of him and 30 min later as we looked at pics of him he appeared in from of us to surprise her. It was one of the most beautiful things i have ever witnessed. This family doesn’t want war. They want to protect their people and the future of their daughter. And yes my song choice shows I’ve been paying attention:) I pray for all the young daughters in this region and that they all have a better life and I’m grateful I got to witness the power of this moment for Natasha and Rotem. | Posted on 22/Dec/2023 11:21:12
