Santa and Snow were present at our LA holiday party for reunified families this weekend – over 30 families represented by @immdef_lawcenter received items from their holiday wishlist.
Families also enjoyed picking out new toys, clothing, school supplies while taking photos with Minnie and Mickey at @lasclife. The most beautiful days are the ones when humanity is present.
We are consistently blown away by this community of givers. Over 70 sponsors came together to support families in need. When we told long time sponsor @scooterbraun about a family with over 30 members, he and his team stepped right up and provided beautifully wrapped gifts for the whole family. We are so grateful to our generous community for stepping up!

We are honored to support the amazing organization @makeawishamerica and help this year break the record with over 16,000 wishes granted . More to come!
Today I had the honor of meeting 101 year old holocaust survivor Joseph Alexander for a project that’s deeply meaningful. Something impactful is taking shape. Joseph’s story is amazing being one of the few Polish Jews to survive the Holocaust. He lived somehow through 12 camps from 1939 to 1945 even at times in the same camps as both my grandparents. People need to understand that in 1938 there were over 3 million Jews in Poland and in 1945 only 300,000 were left. Joseph lost everyone. I was honored to spend time with him and when he showed me his tattoo from Auschwitz I showed him mine in honor of my grandmother. See the camp gave you 6 numbers. From there you had no name you were just a #. My tattoo is 6 numbers representing the birth of my children. Each child is another 6 numbers of their birthdate. The nazis gave us numbers to take away life and humanity. Mine represent giving it back. Look forward to seeing Joe again soon and can’t wait to share this project and his stories with you all soon. Last thing . I asked Joe what he thought of today. He said it’s awful but we have to all forgive and remove hate. He said he hates no one. He holds no grudge. He wants all people, no matter what they look like or what religion they are, to have peace and a chance at a beautiful life. See after the war Joe was liberated and sent to Germany. He lived amongst those that once tried to kill him. Joe forgave them. He said he never forgot those he lost but I he lived on for them. No hate and no grudge in his heart. He said to hold on to it would have been “poison.” He said people ask him why he never removed the tattoo. He said he wanted the reminder so he could speak and teach what he learned and what he lost. I wish we all had Joe’s wisdom. More to come. Thank you Joe. Truly honored
Last night I had the honor of speaking at event against antisemitism with @standwithus . I brought my 3 kids because I wanted them to feel a room of their culture that wasn’t afraid to be who they are…. a loving and caring people who want peace and equality for all. I called upon my kids in my talk and they crushed it. When I got back to the table my brother @mishpachah83 said you need to see this video and as I watched this (I get to see their faces 🥰) I found myself tearing up. There is nothing like seeing your children being proud of where they come from and being tied to their history. I wish the same for all people. I spoke about my friend Nasim on stage. He is a Palestinian American and we have been supporting each other recently. Nasim and I found each other through the bravery of respectful dialogue and I pray for his people today the same way I pray for mine. One day may there be peace. Until then be strong and loving and don’t let your anger and hurt stop you from seeing each other’s humanity. Also how cute is this video 😊 Ich bin an Yiddishe kind – I am a Jewish child
Loud and proud and will always call for peace and coexistence and dialogue
Last night I met some great people and we spoke about each other’s rich history in these times. We spoke about our anger and our fears and our resolve and our pride and our strength. These photos above are of my Ma and Apu. They are my strength. They were survivors of the Holocaust with Ma surviving Auschwitz and Apu surviving Dachau. They saw the worst of humanity but still remained kind and loving people to all those they encountered. I’m grateful to be their grandson and before they passed I promised them I would never be afraid and I would make sure my children remembered them. I’m proud to say I kept that promise because in these strange times filled with hate I refuse to be afraid and my kids recognize them in pictures by name. We know where we come from and we won’t stop being proud. I am the grandson of Joseph and Eva and I am a proud Jewish child. And just like they did I will meet all hate with strength and love. They raised me to love even those that hate us… and never be afraid of the cowardice of hatred. I love and miss you Ma and Apu. And just like they taught me I will also enjoy the life I’m given. So trust me we had a good time last night and the weekend is young. Happy Holidays and L’chiam!

Last night marked the beginning of the festival of Hanukkah.
Hanukkah falls during the darkest period of the year, where the days are short and the nights are long. Where darkness seems to be greater than light.
And, it is precisely at that time when we, the Jewish people, are called to bring light into the world – to be sources of light ourselves – for a little bit of light can drive away much darkness.
Throughout our people’s history there have been many long nights, and many periods of painful darkness.
Too many.
Including this dark time we are enduring right now.
And yet, through it all, we have endured. At the darkest moments, we have continually found a way to shine light into the world, and this year will be no different.
For thousands of years, despite the best efforts of the Greeks, the Romans, religious oppression, the Nazis, and Hamas today, we are still here, and we will once again celebrate Hanukkah, choosing life over death, light over darkness, and good over evil.
That will never change, and those that doubt us, those that hate us, those that try to scare us – they will come to realize when this moment ends, and peace comes, we will still be here, still bringing light into the world.
Happy Hanukkah

Brothers. It is a rare thing to be in your 40s and have a group of friends you have been close with since childhood. Apples you came in my 20s but you are in for life. I love these men. Except for Paul. Paul dresses like he is about to coach an AAU game at all times. “Where we at Paul?” “Court 5 fellas. Court 5.” 😂 love you too Paul. My brothers ❤️
Saw the @pennpresident statement this morning and jotted down some thoughts. Where are the leaders? @pennpresident while many appreciate your willingness to finally correct your statement many also hope you are willing to resign.
Bring your parents to work day lol. Having my parents in town to be with my kids this past week has been special. Hearing them play…Late night stories…Laughs… just seeing the excitement in my kids eyes being around them. It’s been a great week. Love you Mom and Dad. Until next time 🙂 #preciousmoments
When I was a kid my parents really wished I would have gone to UPENN. Watching this I have never been more proud to be an Emory drop out. Imagine for a second this was a major university president talking about ANY OTHER MINORITY. Why am I posting this? Because I want everyone being silent in this moment uncomfortable in their silence. You know right from wrong. You know how outraged you would be if this was your heritage. Your culture. So why are you so silent when it is about the Jews? Jesus was a Jew. You likely have Jewish blood in you. What I know for sure is that you have human blood and we are all connected to each other in the end. Where is your outrage? Where is your frustration? Where is your voice? We are listening. We are waiting. Because next time it could be YOU. But if you remain silent don’t worry. We are strong. We are proud. And we are sure as hell not afraid. So UPENN do better… but don’t worry even though I didn’t get that degree and I ended up just fine 😉
When @davidappleton makes you drop @usher songs in the Obama voice 😂 🤦🏻♂️ #myway #daddyshome
Me and my lil guy still got it. Bday boy with the assist. 🏀 . First take 😉
