A beautiful festival that focuses on the adaptation of novels to films.
Congratulations to Isabel Coixet, Laia Costa and Hovik Keuchkerian for winning the Grand Prize with their magnificent film ‘Un Amor.’
You must see this film as well as Lubo, La Passion de Dodin Bouffant, The Beautiful Summer and Comandante.

At one time my show business career made Canada my “home away from home“ then Italy became my home away from home.
But now, with trips to Bulgaria, Romania, Serbia, Kosovo and Albania… it feels like the Balkans Region is becoming another home away from home for me.
I love everything about it… the culture, art, food, traditions, the cities, the natural beauty, the beautiful people and, most importantly, the regions incredibly powerful history.
You can feel it in your soul.
