Snow had been tricking us a few times here. That couloir felt fine going up but once again got tricked by the steepness and didn’t wait enough for the snow to soften up as it does weirdly here.It seems that we have found the dream zone now. We have been down here in Antarctica for almost 3 weeks now and it’s nice to have a better understanding of of the terrain, the snow and to get a better feeling in the board as well. We have had a lot of different conditions and most of the runs here are Uber steep considering how much the snow sticks to vertical walls. @thenorthface #goprolineofthewinter
« How about a wing foil session in 2 degrees water and in between icebergs? » he said… Following the great @guidoperrini on this down day waiting for the storm to pass… It was actually so nice and quite manageable with the cold. Good to have the boat close by to warm up🥶🥶 @indianapaddlesurf @ripcurl wetsuits🤟
