He’s always been a hero of mine and I’m grateful for his meaningful and extraordinary 101 years on this earth. It is better because of him. Rest in peace good man.

Being in a room full of women I love and admire was life-giving! Every single speech was personal, wise and profound. My soul sister Eva Longoria presented me with the most moving speech I have ever had given to me. She made me sob as only she can because she is the person in this industry who knows my experiences so intimately and really truly sees me. Thank you Eva for presenting to me even as you were being honored yourself by the equally amazing @kerrywashington !
