Anjali Bhimani Instagram – What a night… Thanks so much @lilly for creating a space last weekend (and WHAT a space) for us to celebrate the love and light we do have in the world – even amidst the darkness – and to hold space with each other for more of it in the new year. It’s been rare that I’ve had a chance to celebrate Diwali with a room full of other desis – along with so many new friends who came and embraced and learned about the holiday and the meaning behind it. The joy in the room, the dancing – oh the dancing – and the laughs were a needed balm to get back out in the world and continuing to do what each of us can to create more good in the world. (Special thanks to @terrycrews for the wonderful conversation and the epic dance with Lilly that were two of my favorite moments of the night).
