This is the Inland Freight Route – a $1 billion project better known as the Second Bruce.
It will take trucks off the Bruce Highway and deliver a big boost to regional towns.
Building it is essential for Queensland as our population booms.
So we’re getting on with it –and powering ahead with a big $107 million package of early works.
It means shovels in the ground on priority upgrades along the critical freight route.
Our government wants to see it built, so we’re getting work started now.
