Let’s make one thing clear, I’d rather eat this Gingerbread house than make it.
Lately, I’ve been reflecting on how much of the behind-the-scenes of my business I’ve shared with you all; beyond the photoshoots and runway shows.. Now feels like the perfect moment to peel back the curtain and truly get down to business 😜
Building a brand is a multifaceted journey filled with both successes AND many failures — and I believe it’s time I start sharing both with all of you.
Success, for me, has taken various forms in both personal and career aspects. I’m aware many of you have your own businesses, side hustles, and aspirations.
So, what does success mean to you? Comment down below!👇🏽
After she was scouted in a modelling competition in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 12, Ashley Graham (@ashleygraham) went on to break barriers in the fashion industry by becoming the first plus-size model to appear on the covers of both Sports Illustrated’s swimsuit issue and American Vogue.
“It started shifting the minds of agents, casting directors, art directors, editors to say, ‘Oh, this is where we’re going. The zeitgeist is turning, and it’s not just about what has been deemed beautiful for so long. Maybe we should think about what else is out there,’” she says.
BoF founder and editor-in-chief Imran Amed (@imranamed) sits down with Graham to learn how she became the most recognisable face of a global cultural movement and understand the personal philosophies that have guided her along the way.

It was so much fun to capture the fun and wild joy we share in our home. These pictures were a riot to create and they truly capture the essence of my boys and our love for eachother. Between the laughter and running around, there wasn’t a dull moment in sight. I feel so grateful and blessed every time I glance at these shots 🤍
PS: thank you Mom for getting the boys to all look at the camera compliments of your dinosaur impressions
And once again, for those who missed it, congratulations to my friend @palomija on winning the @britishfashioncouncil Model Of the Year award.
Make sure to go back and watch my interview with her on @prettybigdealpod (link in bio) — It’s all about embracing diversity, radical acceptance & and amplifying kindness. In this community, every shade of beauty shines, and hate has no place here.
