Giraffe populations have declined by 40% in the last 30 years, and there are now fewer than 70,000 mature individuals left in the wild. Space is essential for large mammals, and shrinking habitats combined with a lack of wildlife law enforcement are largely to blame for what many are calling a silent extinction. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ But all is not lost.
