Thanks to Government’s scheme Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna. Under this scheme, eligible economically weaker families in the country get a cover of Rs 5,00,000 every year. This involves getting your secondary and tertiary medical treatments to be taken care of free of cost.
🪪 You need to create an Ayushman card for the same. One can create it online on the website beneficiary.nha.gov.in or can go to the Jan Seva Kendra to get it made.

🪪 More than 27 crore Aayushman cards have been created till date.
🏥 The best thing is it covers any pre-existing illness too at the time of getting the card. Medical expenses of upto 3 days pre-hospitalisation and upto 15 days post hospitalisation are also covered.
PM-JAY has been rolled out for the bottom 40 per cent of poor and vulnerable population. In absolute numbers, this is close to 12 crore households. And it is the world’s largest health insurance scheme fully financed by the government.
