Cheryl Dunye Instagram – My Aunt Betty passed away this week. She was one of my father’s nine siblings. I didn’t get to know many of them but I did get to know Betty who shared many stories with me about growing up in her Liberian village. She was a very dynamic woman. Betty came to the states, like my father, and eventually landed a job at the post office in Newark, New Jersey where she worked until she retired. After years of dementia, she’s has finally moved on.
