Yo lo uso en vías largas y normalmente cuando aseguro en lugares donde sé que pueden caer piedras, pero no en escalada deportiva. Aunque es verdad que ultimamente veo a mas gente en los sectores usando casco y me parece una decisión inteligente.
En cualquier caso es una decision personal y deberíamos valorar cuando llevarlo o no siendo consecuentes con nuestra decision. Y por supuesto, respetados/as por ello.

I use it on multipitch routes and for belaying in places where I know stones can fall, but not in sport climbing routes. Anyways lately I see more people wearing helmets in the sport climbing crags and I think it is an intelligent decision.
In the end it’s a personal decision and we should decide when to wear it or not, being consistent with our decision, and of course respected for it.
