Dia Frampton Instagram – You don’t hear my bad songs. When I release an album, you’re hearing a collection of my strongest songs. My very best. As I write for the new @meganddiamusic album, I’m again humbled by the writing process. We’ll spend a day working on a song, only to realize as the sun goes down that… well, it’s not good. 😂 That’s just a part of creating. So whatever you’re striving for, or dreaming about, don’t get too discouraged when you look to other artists for inspiration. Sometimes when I watch a masterpiece like “Parasite,” or “The worst person in the world,” or read a book that I love, I often remind myself that I’m enjoying their very best work, too. I’m sure even the greats have had their bad days. Their batch of bad songs. A rough, first draft of a screenplay they’d never want to share. The first edit of a movie. For every good song I write, there’s a grave of 100 terrible songs that I’ll keep to myself, thank you very much. Keep creating. Keep dreaming. Get inspired by peoples’ “bests,” but know that isn’t the entire picture. ❤️❤️❤️ 📷 @chestermarc
