A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our orchestral shows in the US. It’d been a while since I performed there and you all made me feel so welcome. The response to these shows has been more than I could have ever asked for and I’ve seen your requests for more 🥲 I’m so excited to confirm that we’ll be doing a very special show at the iconic @royalalberthall with the @royalphilconcertorchestra next year. You can sign up for pre-sale access on my official website and via the link in my bio. I hope you can join us. Sending love & warmth,
Ellie x

As I’ve said in my post, as COP28 comes to a very tense close, I wanted to check in and maybe give you a bit of active hope. But I wanted to say thank you to everyone who worked with me at COP, and taught me so much. So here we go – this is my list of heroes.
Raquel, Ubiratan, Leticia and Angelica – local community activists from Brazil whose work – when states and international ‘leaders’ look away –literally keeps us all in the game. @aliancadasamazonias @juventudeindigenaro @cnsextratvista @redejandyras @copdasbaixadas. Thank you @WWF_UK @wwfbrasil and @ifrc for bringing us together again.
To @iam_samata @with_blackpearl for the wonderful chat on stage on creativity and activism. I can’t wait to see what you do next .
Thank you @francesffox founder of @climateliveglobal and I stand by it. There is so much discussion about COP, and understandably so many misgivings but I hope I have explained the solidarity and connection that is created by people like Frances and @rahmina_paullete, (By the way I don’t know how you keep your composure scheduling all of these COP events, but I was so honoured to take part).
What a treat to bump into the wonderful @nilerodgers and get a quiet moment to talk with my UN boss and mentor the always kind and wise @andersen_inger_threads, Executive Director @UNEP and @unitednations Under-sec general.
Naturally I dropped in on the UK Pavillion and learned more about the Global Centre for Biodiversity for Climate and The Global Biodiversity Standard (thank you @alexandre.antonelli). Big thanks to @environmentdave and the UK government team for hosting and @kewgardens for the coffee.
Sometimes at COP as you march between pavilions and stages you have great conversations on the fly. @aymusik youth leader extraordinaire @unitednations thank you for the best walk and talk.
And @earthrise.studio with @youtube and @unep for the clear and expert calls to action. For unpicking this whole thing in ways that everyone can understand. And thank you with @outrageoptimism for keeping leaders accountable until the last minute.

“If you want to learn about the Amazon – listen to people from the Amazon.”
Waleska told me this yesterday when I met her, Raquel, Ubiratan, Leticia and Angelica – 5 young Indigenous activists and local community activists from Brazil at #COP28 with @WWF_UK and @wwfbrasil
We talked around the symbolic ‘Reclaimed Table’ created by @ifrc using debris from climate disasters around the world. I would like to thank you all for spending so much time with me.! For sharing your experiences, your stories, and your work with me and @seagull.
These beautiful humans are living with the devastating effects of climate change right now as the Amazon experiences one of the worst droughts it has ever seen.
Every day they’re fighting to protect the Amazon from illegal deforestation and mining. They’re protecting this vital rainforest for us all. Without it, we lose any chance of a stable climate and world.
This was their first COP and it’s amazing to see more Indigenous representatives here than ever before. It’s vital that their voices are heard by the leaders and negotiators here in Dubai. We must ensure a just and equitable climate transition for everyone. We need more action and less broken promises. @aliancadasamazonias

Gorgeous @elliegoulding She was one of the first major artists to give me a shot at taking her portrait when nobody knew who I was, thank you for your kindness and always supporting me @elliegoulding @britishfashioncouncil #fashionawards Royal Albert Hall
#THECREATIVEISSUE – With several career achievements under her belt, including a recent nomination for the Grammy Awards 2024 with “Miracle” with Calvin Harris, multi-platinum singer / songwriter Ellie Goulding is a global pop icon. Her fifth album, “Higher than Heaven,” released in April, is already a cult classic and saw her celebrate her fourth number 1 album in the U.K. Beyond music, Ellie is an activist and philanthropist, a UN Environment Ambassador who uses her platform to address environmental issues.
«I love being in nature. We’re inextricably linked to nature, and I think when we lose that connection, we really lose ourselves».
