genoc*de and war are viruses, hungry to expand. the tools that propel them can be rehashed and adapted to inflict harm anywhere, at any scale. the silencing, doxxing, and punishing of protestors on college campuses is a stark reminder of how warfare and oppression can be scaled down to fit any context. the concurrent rise of antisemitism and islamophobia also reflects that. none of us are truly free unless we all are free and that includes the hostages.
