This week the UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) is hosting the largest gathering in support of @refugees – the Global #RefugeeForum. It’s a moment of solidarity #WithRefugees. And, it needs to be a turning point in how we welcome refugees everywhere. UNHCR provides protection and life-saving services to refugees around the world, but we cannot do it alone. As a global community, we need to work together to increase access to solutions, improve conditions in countries of origin, and enhance refugee self-reliance. Refugees don’t want handouts, they want the tools they need to rebuild their lives and thrive on their own two feet.
