I’d like to shout out Myf who is a service dog (not trained)to her core . She decides in a house full of people who needs her the most and guards them . Then if someone else is having a bad day, or is sick or sad ,she rushes off to guard them too . She bed hops according accurately to who might need comfort the most . She is not the sharpest tool in the shed and can’t always tell the difference between a pee pad and my bath mat . But her emotional acuity, intelligence and desire to help and soothe are otherworldly . We are so lucky to have her.

First of all I want to thank @dynamoisdead and his team for allowing me to post this before it’s officially ready and for being so tender and kind to me. Second of all, the magic I most believe in is collective positive energy.I believe it can make miracles and we need a miracle. This week has taken an even scarier turn involving the health of my beloved stepdad, Roy ,and we need every tiny scrap of love and magic in the hope he pulls through. I understand that most people likely won’t watch to the end , and also that there are many people deserving of love and prayers . But to the five or six people who will,and would be kind enough to send healing energy his way,I’d be so grateful . I’d never forgive myself if I didn’t try every single thing and then would wonder for the rest of my life if that would have helped . I’m going to turn the comments off because the last few days have been devastating and I don’t want myself or any of my or Roy’s family to be further distressed by an inevitable few callous comments .Love to all, and to slightly paraphrase a quote from a poem my late father Richard wrote -to whoever loves me enough to watch to the end, thank you always x 🙏
