The dogs of Skid Row, Los Angeles are suffering in silence, and they need YOUR voice!
Skid Row, a neighborhood known for its significant homeless population, is also home to numerous dogs living in deplorable conditions – caged, neglected, and abused. Many are tethered 24/7 without access to adequate food, water, or shade, while others are illegally bred without permits, and all are subjected to the harsh realities of life on the streets.

Resources offered to the people living on Skid Row for free spay and neuter are often refused because the dogs are being bred as bartering tools for drugs. Supplies of food and water for the dogs are also routinely stolen.
š¢ We are calling on Mayor Karen Bass, LA Councilmember Kevin de Leon, and General Manager of Animal Services Staycee Dains to address this urgent situation and work with the @standupforpitsfoundation and @theanimalrescuemission to end the mass breeding and unlawful suffering of dogs on Skid Row.
We demand a meeting on or before Monday, Dec 4th, 2023, to discuss viable solutions and enforce laws that protect these animals.
