And whether they like it or not, it’s talking through the teachers😒 (and let’s not forget TikTok). Are there people that this affirming care helps? Sure – but why would the investors in this industry stop there? What more pervasive a strategy is there than directly marketing to all the children in the entire school system when their parents aren’t present? 🥸 With market charts for sex-reassignment-surgeries all predicting exponential growth in the next decade, industry experts clearly know they’ve hit the jackpot (grandviewresearch.com, acumenresearchandconsulting.com). But you want to know the problem that supersedes insidious marketing to children? The fact that our kids, in their most impressionable years, are spending more time in school than learning from and with the people who care about them the most. And that’s normal. We don’t even question it – but why? If we don’t feel smart enough to teach our kids – did we learn anything in school? If we don’t have the money to stay home with our kids – did it give us the knowledge to be successful? If we don’t have the support to stay home with our kids – did it instill in us the emotional stability necessary to have good relationships?
