The Polo Lounge was out spot. We’d drink Chardonnay on Tuesdays and get caught up on each others lives. Our relationship became so much more interesting when I became an adult woman in my 40’s… after my divorce. It really bonded us. John was never really cut out for raising small children.
He preferred martinis, the ponies and intellectual conversations over wine.
I miss our lunches daddy.

The last 2 pictures were taken on the last 4th of July he would ever see.
I always wondered if he knew this, as he watched the fireworks so seriously.
Side note- he was 88yrs old and double fisting a beer and wine. Loved that man 😂😆
