Laverne Cox Instagram – This brought me to tears this morning. My insanely talented friend and colleague having a long overdue SOLO @elleusa cover. In these uncertain times, I’m reminded of why I love acting, art, storytelling this morning. I’m reminded of how much I Iove pure talent. I’m reminded of how many incredible actors from @oitnb who are still waiting for their long overdue SOLO magazine covers, nominations, flowers. I’m feeling so deeply inspired and just proud of my sister @daniebb3. @thecolorpurple means so much to me. I had the honor of seeing Dani on Broadway multiple times in the role she is now playing on screen. Yeah I’m excited cause she’s my friend but I’m even more excited cause Miss Girl can ACT honey and SANG!!! Talent makes me so excited and when that talent is cultivated and trained, I can’t handle it. And when that talent gets to serve something bigger than ourselves that’s authentic power. Congrats Dani!!
