Leah Lewis Instagram – As the strike has lifted, out comes a love letter for a film I was apart of last summer. If I didn’t lose all my photos on a misplaced phone, you’d have gotten a raunchy post that was filled with obnoxious love, goats, laughter, boiling heat, losing daylight and joy – but these photos will do for now. Take my word on it. Tripped Up is a film about female friendship, finding yourself through the noise of your OWN self, and really learning to respect the people you love the most despite being so different. Part of what this work gives me is an incredible amount of appreciation for the people I get to know during the process. I walked onto this project excited and open and I walked off this project feeling like I gave so much love, received all of it in return, and broke a rib from laughing so hard and having so much fun. Our fearless director @shrutirya thank you for leading us so lovingly and allowing all of our weirdness to be welcomed, our writers @carriefoggshaw and @cristinacat thank you for sharing your experiences so personally and being absolutely joys to work with. @vanessawilliamsofficial you’re a legend among us all. @gilperezabraham, you play the charmingly platonic voice of reason so well and from the moment we met we dug in deep. @jewdygold, everything you touch turns to laughs. @jellpell, you are so graceful and talented. @dannykornfeld, our villain of the plot, I could say three words to you but you already know how much I respect, adore and admire you.
