Although I’ve visited Rajasthan quite a few times , I had never really done a tour of the Palaces or forts ( in this case, Udaipur palace & Kumbhalgarh fort) . This time I’m glad I did . It’s truly a gem and I’m proud to be from a country that has such rich history and heritage. I think it’s underrated ( when compared to some other places in the world which are so hyped) . As I walked through the palace adorned with intricate carvings and architecture, simultaneously listening to the history of the rajput warriors( mainly Maharana pratap and Rana Kumbha ) with the help of my (overly dramatic😝) imagination I felt as if so much transpired in me and I travelled back in time and saw everything happen . It was magical . My love for visiting historical places has just gotten deeper❤️..
