BOO!
Cue the festivities!! ☃️
Earlier this December, I had the absolute pleasure of performing a set at the City Carol Sing.✨This Christmas Eve & Christmas Day you can enjoy the whole performance on @city_tv @ 11pm EST both nights while digesting that big dinner, opening gifts with your loved ones, or getting cozy with a cup of hot chocolate.🎄💫
STELLA ADLER | NYC SUMMER 2023 Earlier this spring, with the strikes going on & anticipating the scarcity of work in our industry this year (…and itching to satisfy the wanderlust), I decided I’d spend my summer outside of Toronto to get some training in. Most of my past “performance” training and work have been in music, film & tv, so I figured I’d try out a “traditional” theatre/drama program, and thrust myself into a scary, new environment. I was elated to get accepted into an intensive program at The Stella Adler Studio of Acting and got to spend my whole summer in NYC. I was inspired. I was frustrated & confused. I was moved. And once again I was reminded that performing & creating is how I want to spend my life. Throughout this year in its entirety, I’ve been pretty blessed with opportunities to travel and somehow more so blessed to cross paths with some of the loveliest souls whom I’ve gotten to learn so much from. To the people who made this summer what it was – ya group of misfits you! Thank you guys for giving me one of THE most beautiful & inspiring learning experiences I’ve ever had. I still remember in just the first two weeks of class, amidst grieving the loss of my grandfather away from family in an unfamiliar city, without even knowing my situation at the time, your openness & radiant energy filled me with so much warmth. We sang. We danced. We cried. We laughed even more. And throughout the program I just felt genuinely honoured to be in a room with these people and witness them work everyday. Remember these faces because they’ve got bright futures ahead of them! But anywhosies, peace out @stellaadler & summer 2023. Thanks for the mems. I’m continuously filled with immense gratitude & joy. To more love, light, and lessons! 🤍 (I might still be in denial that this summer’s over and it’s already September. I simply cannot BELIEVE.)
