Naima Mora Instagram – I always feel a certain kind of way seeing ancestral magic displayed in museums … but my trip to the @metmuseum today was inspiring to say the least. I come from a people that pay tribute to and honor the dead and it enriches our lives in the now by doing so, connecting us to eons of generations who walked this earth before.
They were beautifully gilded in precious metals and stones walking into the afterlife… alchemists in this life and the beyond….
