Natasha Khan Instagram – “Amidst the echoes of 2009, a UK music festival set the scene for my first encounter with @batforlashes. Her mesmerising voice and bewitching presence held me captive, leaving a lasting memory.
Natasha has always been an inspiration to me personally, as well as being a forever muse for @slc_london . I love that she has always existed in her own world without comparisons. In the early days of SLC, I recall Natasha stepping into our store in East London to browse the tarot decks and crystals, and her radiant energy left an enduring impression. Fast-forward to 2023, and Natasha returned, not as a customer, but as a collaborator. This time, it was to discuss her latest project – the Motherwitch Oracle Deck.
Her beautifully intricate illustrations and channelled visions illuminate her journey through motherhood and resonate with me deeply. Stepping into the realm of motherhood at the age of 40 whilst grappling with the uncertainties of lockdown also became a significant facet of my own narrative. So, too, were the primal and animalistic instincts I felt as I moved through this new transformational chapter.
Mother to mother, witch to witch, sister to sister, the Motherwitch spoke to me as I know it will to others. It offers guidance and solace as it weaves narratives of resilience, hope, and the enchantment of the feminine archetype.
Collaborating with Natasha to manifest her visions and illustrations into reality has been a cherished experience. To me, spirituality embodies self-expression and the pursuit of creative exploration, both of which are beautifully encapsulated within the essence of the Motherwitch Oracle Deck.”
