I crave you.. and Ranju, and every second spent in this haven. I want to start the day, welcoming the sun standing atop that hill and listen to the birds sing ..
I want to eat from my own garden.
I want to be happy… really..
I want to smile looking at my dog and I want to grab my stick and wander off in the basti above our village. I want to see people and talk to them in my mother tongue when they talk in theirs and still believe nothing is lost in translation whist making a complete fool of myself. I want to know which plant does what and why is it planted where it is as I get lost in the beauty of all the 567 Colors of flowers I see in one frame. Ruskin Bond said, “It is always the same with mountains. Once you have lived with them for any
length of time, you belong to them.
There is no escape.”
I don’t know if I belong to the mountains, but I saw the mountains with you and only you.. and I feel of sense of belonging.. it scares me, a lot.. but that version of me is so happy…it’s tough..
