Thank you for sharing your heart…RP @justicemoore_ this one means a whole lot. while i was searching for songs to choreograph to for this performance, i found myself no where near a landing zone. many drafts were made, but none felt authentic. i let it go for a bit and started journaling about my current artistic journey. there are times when i feel pulled in many directions and sometimes that results in a stand still. i’ll be in rooms and while i am so thankful, there sometimes lacks a sense of true belonging…but i think that’s insecurity talking, that’s me questioning and doubting rather than just being… ANYWAYS, this is me sharing my heart, my brain and my process right now. this felt like the only option as it feels the most true…😂 i guess just bringing “if voices could dance” to life in a new way on this beautiful platform. thankyou @worldofdance and @cheymami ✨✨ a wild performance experience i’ll remember forever.
