Ross Instagram – This is the clitoris — But here’s what you should know, the surrounding tissue under the vulva is called erectile tissue and looks like an upside-down horseshoe, that brings blood flow to the sweet spot. The clitoris extends back into the body (close to 4 inches!), which you cannot see. When you are sexually aroused the erectile tissue brings increased blood flow to the vulva and clitoris causing it to become erect in the same way a penis does.
