Happy Taesty Tuesday y’all 🌀 Think of your most favoritest person on the planet right now. How do you feel about them? How do you treat them? How do you talk to them? How do you speak about them to others? Do you show up for them? Do you fully support them doing what makes them happy? Do you take care of their heart? Do you make them feel special? How do you love them? Now turn these questions around on you. Do you TAKE CARE OF YOU? A lot of times we treat others better than we treat ourselves. We hold ourselves to higher standards. We force ourselves to work harder and feel guilty when we rest. We do our best, but then we second guess ourselves and the critique in us tells us that we can do better. Why do we do this? Because WHEN WE DON’T SEE OURSELVES WE DON’T SEE OURSELVES. It’s easy to spread light and love to the people we physically see and interact with. But, just because the only time we actually physically see ourself is when we look in the mirror, it doesn’t mean we should forget about us. You matter and so do I. This is what we constantly need to remind ourselves about every single day. Especially when you are in a relationship with someone. I’ve decided that my number one focus is ME. Because when I feel good, I’m filled with love. And when I’m filled with love I have something beautiful to offer people. Don’t run on fumes or emptiness. Rest. Heal. Play… LOVE YOURSELF MORE. You deserve it 🙂
