… I’m in love.
I named him Sterling after our very first plunge in to the ocean.
We laughed, we cried, we sped recklessly toward the horizon, like two young fools. (*smiles to self) The wind and current was strong, but our connection was stronger. We moved together as one, breaking waves left, right, up and down, then fell breathless to the shore 🏝🐚
It was at that moment, I looked over at him and I knew… I’d never look at another kayak the same.
